Within the last few hundred years, Craft have begun making the trek out to the inner regions of the Oort cloud. The abundance of comets and other small collections of volatiles have made it attractive for those who don’t want to deal with moon based fuel dumps. Some have speculated that eventually most Craft will come out to the Cloud regularly as more and more of the resources in the rest of the System get used up.

Travel outside of the Solar System is currently considered impossible. It may be possible for a Craft to make it to the next star system, but no Craft currently wants to leave the System and such a trip would take a very, very long time. As a result, Mankind will likely not leave the Solar System any time soon.
